How the personalization works

Pick your size at checkout (Small, Medium, or Large). Upload one photo through our simple uploader. Our photo team removes the background, balances lighting, sharpens facial detail, and prepares the image for engraving. We then laser-engrave the image into the rectangular crystal pendant and attach the chrome bail and split-ring loop. Standard production takes 1–2 business days. What photo works best

The rectangle is naturally a portrait shape — tall rather than wide — which makes it ideal for headshots, full-body single portraits, or close-framed couple shots where both subjects fit vertically. Photos with strong eye contact and clear facial detail engrave most powerfully. Avoid wide landscape compositions (they will lose impact when oriented vertically), heavily filtered photos, and dark/underexposed images. Send 2–3 options after ordering and our team will recommend the strongest engraving candidate.

What's in the box

Every keychain ships in our satin-lined gift presentation box with a polishing cloth and a Beyond Memories^® certificate of authenticity. The crystal sits prominently in the box, ready to be lifted out and attached to keys.

Keychain care

The crystal pendant is durable but the engraving inside is what makes the keychain meaningful — treat it accordingly. The chrome bail and split-ring loop are built for daily-carry use. Clean the crystal pendant with a soft cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner. Wipe the chrome assembly with the same cloth. Avoid leaving the keychain in a hot car for extended periods, harsh chemicals, and submerging in water. With normal use, the keychain looks the same after years as on day one.

Frequently asked questions

What sizes does the rectangle keychain come in? Small (about 1" tall), Medium (about 1.25" tall), and Large (about 1.5" tall). All three sizes use the same chrome bail and split-ring loop.

Can I engrave a group photo? The keychain works best with 1–2 subjects. Group photos will engrave but the faces will be small at keychain scale.

Will the engraving wear off with daily use? No. The engraving is inside the crystal — it cannot scratch off, fade, or peel.

Is the bail tarnish-resistant? Yes. The bail is polished chrome-plated stainless steel, built for daily pocket exposure without tarnishing.

Can I order two keychains with different photos? Yes. Add two to cart and note the second photo in the checkout instructions, or contact our team after ordering. Many couples order paired keychains with each other's photos.

What if I'm not happy? We have a 30-day satisfaction promise. If the engraving doesn't capture the moment the way you imagined, we will rework it at no cost or refund.
