A compact wooden base with a soft warm-white LED that fires through a centered dispersor under the crystal, lifting the engraving out of shadow and into clean tabletop view. Sized for the Small and Medium crystals across every shape — rectangle, heart, cube, hexagon, arc — and finished in either glossy black lacquer or polished rosewood to match your decor.

The light base does what ambient daylight cannot: it illuminates the engraving from below, making the 3D image visible in dim rooms, after dark, and during the times of day when most photos actually sit on a desk or nightstand. The dispersor lens sits centered on the top face under the crystal, so the light glows up through the K9 glass without spilling sideways. How the light base works

The dispersor is a small recessed lens centered on the top face of the base, directly under where the crystal sits. Inside the wooden housing, a warm-white LED shines upward through the dispersor, which spreads the light evenly into the bottom of the crystal. The K9 optical crystal then carries that light through its volume, illuminating the engraved 3D image from below. The result is a soft glow that makes the engraving visible without making the base itself look like a lit object — you see the photo, not the light source.

The Small light base is designed for Small and Medium crystals across every Beyond Memories shape: the rectangle portrait, the heart, the cube, and the hexagon. The base footprint is sized so the crystal sits centered over the dispersor lens with no edge overhang. For Large, XL, or Max crystals, choose the Medium or Large base — the dispersor lens is sized to match. Mini crystals work on the Small base but the lens may be partially visible around the base of the crystal.

What's in the box

Your Memory Light Base ships in a premium gift-ready box — the same navy presentation box used for Beyond Memories crystals, with the wordmark in gold and custom-cut foam protecting the base in transit. The box contains the wooden light base in your chosen finish, a USB-A power cable with an inline on/off switch, and a printed quick-start card. When ordered alongside a crystal, the light base and the crystal ship together in the same box.

Light base care

The wooden housing has a protective lacquer (black) or natural oil (rosewood) finish — an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth keeps it clean. Avoid wet cleaning. Keep the dispersor lens dust-free by lifting the crystal off and wiping the lens with a microfiber. Indoor use only; do not leave in direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
